Note:Photograph of the 1905 first grade class at (possibly?) the East End School. Teacher Mrs. Nichols pictured.

Note:This photo was once identified as West End School. It includes architectural elements (the concrete steps, the brick wainscoting) that do not correspond with either the East End or the West End Schools. I am guessing that this photo was taken at the back of the East End School, under the belfry; but it is also possible that this is not even a photo of San Marcos children. On the back of it, in what appears to be Tula's hand, it says "school not identified."--Arro.
