Note:Memorial del engaño was actually written by Jorge Volpi. It is an autobiography of the fictional character, J. Volpi, born in New York in 1953, who founded and directed the fictional JV Capital Management (1999-2008). The translator does not exist, nor does the original English work, Deceit, mentioned on the title page verso. Photos included are of Jorge Volpi or are faked. Fake reviews and UTube interview were also created. The book itself gives no information about the actual author's identity.
