Note:John Williamson served as the Hays County Justice of the Peace for two terms, 1966-1980, and then from 1983-1984. He was also an early developer of the "glass-bottomed" boat used at Spring Lake. His son, Leroy Williamson is the author of a definitive article on the San Marcos River published in Texas Parks and Wildlife, 1990.
