Note:A settler's young daughter, Dot, loses her way in the Australian bush. Terrified of the dark shadows and unfamiliar sounds, she is befriended by a kangaroo. Safely tucked in the kangaroo's pouch, Dot has an adventure-packed journey. Along the way, Dot meets many indigenous creatures, including a koala bear, platypus's and a kookaburra. With the help of her new friends, Dot is able to find her way home.
