Note:This file contains only a scrap of genealogy in Tula's hand: "William C. Winters --born in Tenn. Came to Texas in 1834. In battle of San Jacinto. A Texas Ranger he came to Hays County in 1856 where he died in 1864. Buried in unmarked or lost grave in supposed old Wilson Cemetery on Blanco River. Now a field or pasture, the cemetery is lost in 1964."
