Note:"We will leave for Syracuse, NY next week. May visit you good people before going to California. Give Ney (?) and Chas (?) my love. Your (?) Etta". Addressed to Mrs. Mary C. Ford San Marcos, TX.

Note:"Dear Liz, We did have a court house but now we have none. It burned down last night, and the fire is now not out (10 a.m.) It started at 4:10 a.m. Lovingly, Ed Cape, c/o St. Mary's Hall".-- addressed to Miss Lizzie Ford in San Antonio, TX.
