Note:The only photograph Arro can find of the brick West End School--later called Palm School--is a photocopy from an article that was printed in the April 30, 1910 edition of the San Marcos Leader (notation in Tula's hand).

Note:A note about distinguishing photographs between the East End School and the West End School: The West End brick building (pictured here) has a stone foundation; the East End School has bricks all the way to the ground. Also, the West End School has individual double-hung windows with a curved transom; the East End School has windows in series of threes.
