Note:From the 1946 article: "Standing on the back of the truck are Lon Ellis, Sam Perkins, Gus Vogelsang, and Fred Guyer. Seated at the wheel is Winfield Lease, who was the department's first paid driver. He was succeeded by Woods Oliver in 1916. Lease is now Fire Chief at Mimot, North Dakota. Back row left to right are BomMcIlvain, Wynne Smith, Steve Minot, Harold Gosdin, Birk Watkins, Milton Winston, Denney Hensley, Wallace McPherson, Assistant Fire Chief Paul Hartkopf, and Fire Chief Emmett Ramey. Mascot seated on the tool box is Clint Hopkins, Jr. Front row left to right are Henry Watkins, Tom Baldwin, Earnest Mauldin. Glenn Smith, Goodloe Smith, and E. B. Dobbins."
