$aFrances Stovall's notes on the back show that L.H. Browne, Sr. was a lawyer who built the home in 1890 with his wife, the former Miss Butler of Karnes County. It had a formal garden in the front. L.H. Browne, Jr. was also a lawyer, died in the home October 25, 1914. |
