$aAnother inscription on the back is dated December 26, 1947 and signed A.B. Rogers: "This picture is appreciated because I received most of my education at Coronal Institute. I first attended the Primary grades beginning in 1880 at the age of nine years, and most of the time up to 1890. We students all love 'old Coronal.' My teachers at Coronal were Mrs Irving, the first one, Miss Cora Baldwin, Miss Kate Mathews, Miss Laura Wilcox, Prof. A.A. Thomas, Prof. Joe Pritchett, Prof. Drake, Prof. W.S. Stanfield, Prof. Spillman, Miss Cara Belvin, Miss Nora Franklin, Miss Rosa Kendricks, Prof. John E. Pritchett. After my death I want this picture to go to my daughter Lorene Rogers Bering, as she is the only one of our children that attended Coronal Institute." |
