Note:This is clipped from an unknown publication with the caption, "Residence and Grounds of the Hon. L.H. Browne."

Note:Frances Stovall's notes on the back show that L.H. Browne, Sr. was a lawyer who built the home in 1890 with his wife, the former Miss Butler of Karnes County. It had a formal garden in the front. L.H. Browne, Jr. was also a lawyer, died in the home October 25, 1914.

Note:I believe this house was razed and replaced at the corner SW corner of Burleson and Browne Terrace.
